On behalf of the Reality Defender team, I’m proud to share that Reality Defender has been selected as a winner of the 2024 SINET16 Innovator Award. This award recognizes 16 emerging companies offering the most innovative and compelling technologies to address cybersecurity challenges.
Since our company’s founding, research and innovation have been at the forefront of Reality Defender’s mission to provide the most robust and cutting-edge deepfake detection solutions on the market. As generative AI technology evolves, bad actors are constantly finding new methods to create and deploy malicious deepfakes. In combating this dangerous cybersecurity threat, which affects enterprises, digital platforms, and entire nations, innovation is key to keeping pace with the latest deepfake threats designed to perpetrate fraud, commit serious security breaches, and spread disinformation.
A Year of Celebrating Innovation
A committee of 103 judges — composed of CISOs, national security experts, and leaders in finance — selected Reality Defender as well as this year’s winners from a pool of 230 applications spanning 13 countries. We are thrilled to share this honor with these most accomplished colleagues in the cybersecurity space and are immensely grateful to the SINET judging committee for recognizing Reality Defender’s commitment to addressing one of the biggest cybersecurity threats of our time.
Creating alliances and sharing ideas among companies and experts within the AI industry is crucial to mitigating the fallout from the nefarious misuse of AI, and we are grateful to SINET for fostering these connections by highlighting the companies moving the industry forward.
It has been an exciting year for Reality Defender, as SINET’s endorsement of our mission comes just months after we were named the Most Innovative Company at the 2024 RSA Conference in San Francisco. We look forward to building on this momentum as we continue to expand the capabilities of our deepfake detection technology and forge new partnerships across industries.
